Piyarat Piyapongwiwat

Born in 1977, Prae, Thailand.

Piyarat graduated with BFA (Hons) from Ecole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Montpellier Agglomération, Montpellier, France (2010) and BA (Communications) from RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia (2000). Piyarat works with various media include video, text, photograph, mix-media etc. Piyarat’s work usually engage with her own interest including other sciences, humanities, social science, political philosophy and other contemporary issues, for example, gender, sub-culture, culture exchange and globalization etc.
